Description
Amplifikation Lite by Kuassa is a guitar amp simulator VST plugin built on the same DSP engine as Kuassa’s flagship Amplifikation One. It captures the character of a real amp circuit — including a fixed tonestack and power amp output stage — and delivers it in a stripped-down interface that lets you dial in a usable guitar tone in seconds.
The plugin offers three channels — Clean, Rhythm, and Lead — covering everything from jazz cleans to high-gain leads. Nine parameters cover the full signal chain: Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Volume, Input level, Channel selector, and a Cabinet on/off toggle.
A built-in Cabinet Impulse Response loader lets you swap the stock cabinet for any IR file. One KVR reviewer noted: "It is an amp with 3 channels — nothing more but all you need if you want to work quick," comparing the sound favorably to a real Peavey 5150 stack.
Amplifikation Lite also works as a module inside Kuassa’s Amplifikation 360 (A360), a modular signal chain environment for stacking pedals, amps, and cabs. Supports sample rates up to 96 kHz and runs as a 32-bit and 64-bit VST or Audio Unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Amplifikation Lite work with third-party cabinet IRs?
Yes. The plugin includes a built-in Cabinet Impulse Response loader, so you can disable the stock cabinet simulation and load any IR file you have. This makes it easy to use with popular IR packs from Ownhammer, Celestion, or free community IR collections.
Can I use Amplifikation Lite inside Kuassa Amplifikation 360?
Yes. Amplifikation Lite is available as a module inside Amplifikation 360 (A360), Kuassa’s modular guitar signal chain host. This lets you combine it with Kuassa’s pedal and cabinet modules for a full rig in one plugin.
What DAW formats does Amplifikation Lite support?
It runs as a VST or Audio Unit plugin, making it compatible with most DAWs on Windows and Mac including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reaper, Studio One, and Cubase. AAX (Pro Tools) is not supported.
Is Amplifikation Lite a stripped-down demo of a paid product?
It is a standalone permanently free plugin with its own feature set, not a trial or demo. Kuassa does offer paid full-version amp sims (Amplifikation One, Creme, Vermilion) with more amp models and features, but Amplifikation Lite has no time limit or nag screens.
