Description

Amurg Lite by Audiolatry is a sample-based rompler built from sounds captured exclusively on hardware synthesizers, then edited and looped for seamless playback. The current version (Amurg 4 Lite) includes 15 multi-sampled presets organized into keys, leads, pads, basses, and effects categories, all 100% royalty-free for commercial use.

Every preset runs through a full set of per-voice controls: ADSR envelope, LFO modulation with selectable waveform and trigger source, and a lowpass/highpass filter with adjustable cutoff. Voice mode selection and a glide function let you switch between polyphonic chords and monophonic lead lines with portamento.

Built-in effects cover reverb, chorus, distortion, delay, and a cabinet emulation module, each with independent mix and parameter knobs. A global gain, pan, velocity curve, and MIDI velocity selector sit at the bottom of the interface, giving you final-stage control over dynamics and stereo placement.

Bedroom Producers Blog highlighted the plugin's ability to deliver "high-quality synth sounds that you can throw right into the track" and praised presets like KY Submarine and PD ColdWind for lo-fi beat production. Rekkerd noted that both the Lite and full Amurg editions share an identical GUI and feature set, differing only in preset count.

Amurg Lite runs as a VST3 plugin on Windows 8.1 through 11 (64-bit) and as VST3 or AU on macOS Mojave through Sequoia. The download is approximately 120 MB, expanding to 140 MB on disk.
