Description
Bonnie is a ten-slot drum sampler built for speed and live performance. Developed by Fanan Team for Windows, it loads full drum kits in roughly half a second and runs with a minimal resource footprint, making it well suited for stage use and quick studio sketching.
Each of the ten sample slots accepts WAV and MP3 files and is triggered by a dedicated MIDI note, so mapping to a controller or drum pads is straightforward. The plugin ships with 30 curated drum kits covering rock, pop, disco, reggae, R&B, soul, hip-hop, and other classic styles, all packed into a compact 59 MB download.
Every slot includes a full mixer page with pitch, panning, gain, EQ, saturation, phase control, and a drift effect for subtle organic variation. A morphing system lets you blend any two drum elements in the same slot together, generating hybrid sounds you can further shape by adjusting the blended pitch.
Three master effects — compressor, reverb, and delay — are routed through Fanan Team's proprietary FR system, which gives frequency-selective control over each effect's wet signal. Per-channel modulation effects include a phaser, delay, and the Zelda filter, which can radically reshape a sample's character.
Round-robin sample triggering adds realistic variation to repetitive patterns, while the built-in sample editor and 14-category library manager keep workflow fast. Bonnie is the lighter sibling of Fanan Team's paid Zoe drum sampler, delivering a focused feature set without the deeper groove arrangement tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I load my own drum samples into Bonnie?
Yes. Each of the ten slots accepts your own WAV and MP3 files. The sample library is organized into 14 categories, and each category has room for up to 150 user-imported samples in the designated folder on your hard drive.
How does the morphing system work?
The morph system blends any two drum elements loaded in the same slot into a single hybrid sound. You can also adjust the pitch of the blended result, which dramatically expands the range of new drum textures you can create from existing samples.
What is the FR effect system?
FR is Fanan Team's proprietary frequency routing for the three master effects (compressor, reverb, delay). It gives you full-scale frequency control over each effect's wet signal, so you can target specific frequency ranges rather than processing the entire spectrum uniformly.
Is Bonnie related to the Zoe drum sampler?
Bonnie is described as Zoe's lighter sibling. It shares the core slot-based sampling architecture but focuses on speed and simplicity. Zoe is a paid plugin that adds deeper groove arrangement and additional features on top of the same engine.
