Description
BPB 64 is a virtual instrument developed by Bedroom Producers Blog that emulates the iconic sounds of the Commodore 64 home computer.
It is a sample-based synthesizer that captures the raw audio output from the SID chip, the sound chip used in the Commodore 64.
The plugin includes 37 multi-sampled patches, featuring bass sounds, leads, pads, and fast-paced arpeggios.
The sounds were sampled from three different Commodore 64 units, each with different SID chips, ensuring a variety of tonal characteristics.
The user interface of BPB 64 includes a filter, an ADSR envelope, and four built-in effects: chorus, reverb, delay, and distortion.
The plugin also offers modulation options, allowing users to tweak the presets to their liking.
BPB 64 is available in VST and AU plugin formats and is compatible with 64-bit digital audio workstations on both Windows and macOS.
