- Built-in parallel compression via wet/dry mix knob on Britpressor for easy blend between compressed and uncompressed signals
- BritPre provides standalone preamp saturation with high-pass and low-pass filters, phase invert, and independent section bypass
- Clickable 4x oversampling on all three plugins for cleaner processing at higher CPU cost when needed
- Full Apple Silicon native support with AAX, VST, and AU formats on both macOS and Windows
Description
BritBundle is a three-plugin suite from Analog Obsession that emulates the tone and workflow of legendary British Neve console hardware. It includes BritChannel (EQ and preamp), Britpressor (compressor/limiter), and BritPre (preamp with filters), giving you a complete Neve-style signal chain at no cost.
BritChannel models the classic Neve 1073-style equalizer with fixed 10kHz high shelf, sweepable mid band (360Hz to 7.2kHz), switchable low band (35Hz to 220Hz), and a high-pass filter. Its preamp section adds gain staging from -24dB to +24dB with separate mic and line modes.
Britpressor recreates the Neve 2264 compressor/limiter topology with independent compressor and limiter sections, five ratio settings (1.5:1 to 6:1), adjustable recovery times, and a three-band sidechain EQ for frequency-sensitive compression. A wet/dry mix knob enables parallel compression directly inside the plugin without separate bus routing.
BritPre isolates the preamp circuit from BritChannel and pairs it with high-pass and low-pass filters, phase invert, and independent section bypass. It works as a standalone color and tone-shaping tool when you want saturation and filtering without full EQ processing.
All three plugins feature clickable oversampling (4x), Retina display support, and redesigned GUIs with parameter readouts. The bundle ships with macOS and Windows installers and supports AAX alongside VST and AU formats.

Frequently Asked Questions
What hardware is BritBundle modeled after?
BritChannel is modeled on the Neve 1073-style British Class-A equalizer and preamp. Britpressor recreates the Neve 2264 compressor/limiter circuit with its dual compressor and limiter sections. BritPre uses the same preamp circuit as BritChannel paired with high-pass and low-pass filters.
Does BritBundle support Apple Silicon and AAX?
Yes. The current version includes full Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) native support on macOS and AAX format alongside VST and AU. The bundle ships with installers for both macOS and Windows.
What does the clickable Analog Obsession label do on each plugin?
Clicking the Analog Obsession text on any of the three plugins enables 4x oversampling. The label turns red when active. This reduces aliasing artifacts at the cost of higher CPU usage, and is especially useful when driving the preamp sections hard for saturation.
Can Britpressor do parallel compression?
Yes. Britpressor includes a wet/dry mix knob that blends the compressed signal with the uncompressed original. This lets you dial in parallel compression directly inside the plugin without needing to set up separate bus routing in your DAW.
