Description

Club Revolution Vol 1 is a sample collection of over 2,700 sounds designed by Oliver Schmitt of Sounds of Revolution and distributed through Resonance Sound. It covers Trance, Techno, Hardstyle, Electro, and Progressive styles with drums, basses, breakbeats, synth sounds, vocals, electro elements, and a 366-piece FX section.

The standout feature is 575 kick-free loops across five categories: Electro, Tonal, Rough, Experimental, and Main. Unlike filtered loops with the low end removed, these were programmed without a kick drum from the start, preserving the full frequency spectrum for cleaner layering over your own kick patterns.

The drum content includes 312 kicks in five categories, 216 claps and snares, 303 cymbals, and 152 electro percussion hits. Bass and synth sounds total 461 samples with root key labels for quick pitch matching, while all loops are tempo-labelled at 140 BPM.

Oliver Schmitt spent nearly a year producing every sound exclusively for this pack. Computer Music Magazine UK rated it 9 out of 10, calling it "a serious contender for the best hard dance sample pack," and Music Tech Magazine awarded it their Excellence Award with a perfect 10 out of 10 score.

All samples are delivered in 16-bit WAV stereo at 44.1 kHz, with EXS24 and Kontakt patches included as bonus material. The pack is royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial music production.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the kick-free loops in Club Revolution Vol. 1 different from filtered loops?

The 575 kick-free loops were programmed from scratch without a kick drum rather than having the low end filtered out of existing loops. This preserves the full frequency spectrum of hats, percussion, and tonal elements, giving cleaner results when layered over your own kick patterns.

What genres does Club Revolution Vol. 1 cover?

The pack spans Trance, Techno, Hardstyle, Electro House, Progressive House, and Tech House. The loops run at 140 BPM, which sits in the sweet spot for most of these genres. The one-shot drums, basses, and FX are tempo-independent and work across any electronic style.

Are the samples in Club Revolution Vol. 1 royalty-free?

Yes. All sounds are royalty-free for use in commercial and non-commercial music productions. The only restriction is that the samples cannot be redistributed as part of another sample library or sound design product.

What format are the samples delivered in?

All samples are 16-bit WAV stereo files at 44.1 kHz, compatible with any DAW on both Windows and Mac. The pack also includes EXS24 and Kontakt patches as bonus material for quick browsing and auditioning of tonal sounds.
