Description
Electronic Antique is a VST plugin that captures the unique sounds of the Ondioline, one of the earliest synthesizers invented in the 1940s by French designer Georges Jenny.
This plugin offers a range of presets that include string-like patches, brassy tones, atmospheric lead lines, and experimental soundscapes.
The interface is simple and uncluttered, featuring three main controls: sliders for dynamics and expression, and an effects wheel.
The effects wheel allows users to adjust release, attack, delay, vibrato, and tone, making it easy to customize the sound.
Each preset comes preloaded with effects such as reverb, chorus, distortion, and granular pitch delay, providing ample room for experimentation.
Electronic Antique is designed to be compatible with all major DAWs and does not require Kontakt to be installed.
Tips
- Experiment with the effects wheel to find the perfect balance of release, attack, delay, vibrato, and tone.
- Use the preloaded effects like reverb and chorus to add depth and character to your sounds.
- Try feeding the presets through guitar amplifiers for unique and unexpected results.
- Utilize the dynamics and expression sliders to add more emotion and variation to your tracks.
- Explore the range of presets to find the perfect sound for your project, from 60s-inspired psychedelic leads to otherworldly soundscapes.
