Fire

Fire is a free multi-band distortion plugin. It has preset save, multi-band distortion, downsampling, eq, and other features. After this beta, the plugin will remain free and open-source. Developer's Github page offers downloads for macOS and Windows (AU and VST3), as well as source code.

The developer advises against using it in production because it is a beta version. However, now is a good time to take a look at it and provide feedback or changes before the official release. Jerryuhoo, the developer of Fire, is also a producer with demos in a variety of genres. As a bonus, the user interface is attractive and simple to use.
