Description
Xerode by Prismee is a free preset and sample pack built for FL Studio producers working with Harmor, Harmless, and Sytrus. It includes 44 presets and 19 drum samples across a 17.6 MB download.
The pack covers three of FL Studio's most powerful native synthesizers. 23 Harmor presets deliver deep basses, lush pads, and textured leads using Harmor's additive/subtractive engine.
18 Harmless presets focus on clean leads, plucks, and atmospheric sounds through Harmless's streamlined interface.
3 Sytrus presets round out the synth side with complex FM-synthesized textures. These are suited for adding unique sonic layers and experimental tones to your productions.
The 19 drum samples and FX provide punchy kicks, snares, and transition effects that complement the presets. All sounds are production-ready and designed for electronic genres including dubstep, trance, progressive house, and electro house.
Presets are saved in .fst format and load directly into their respective FL Studio plugins. Drum samples are provided as WAV files at standard quality.
Tips
- Layering Harmor Presets: To create a fuller sound, try layering multiple Harmor presets. For instance, combine a bass preset with a pad preset to add depth and richness to your low-end frequencies.
- Modulating Harmless Presets: Utilize the modulation capabilities of Harmless to add movement to your leads and plucks. Experiment with automating the filter cutoff and resonance to create dynamic and evolving sounds.
- Sytrus Preset Customization: Take advantage of the complex modulation matrix in Sytrus to customize the provided presets. Adjust the envelope and LFO settings to create unique textures that fit your track's vibe.
- Drum Sample Processing: Enhance the provided drum samples by applying effects such as compression, EQ, and reverb. This can help to tailor the samples to fit better within your mix and add a professional touch.
- FX Integration: Use the sound effects included in the pack to add transitions and impacts in your tracks. Layering these effects with other elements can help to create seamless transitions and maintain listener interest.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I install Xerode presets in FL Studio?
Download and extract the .rar file. Copy the .fst preset files into your FL Studio browser's preset folder for each synth (e.g., Image-Line/FL Studio/Presets/Plugin presets/Generators/Harmor). You can also drag and drop .fst files directly onto an open instance of Harmor, Harmless, or Sytrus in FL Studio.
Which version of FL Studio do I need for these presets?
Xerode presets work with FL Studio 12 and later. Note that Harmor requires the Producer Edition or higher (or a separate purchase), Harmless requires FL Studio 12+ or a separate license, and Sytrus is included free with FL Studio 12 and later.
Can I customize the Xerode presets?
Yes. All presets are fully editable. In Harmor, you can adjust harmonic content, filters, and modulation envelopes. In Harmless, tweak filter cutoff, resonance, and phaser settings. In Sytrus, modify the FM modulation matrix, operators, and envelope parameters to create your own variations.
Are the drum samples royalty-free?
Yes. The 19 drum samples and FX included in Xerode are royalty-free WAV files. You can use them in commercial releases without additional licensing.
What genres work best with these presets?
Xerode was designed primarily for electronic music production. The presets cover dubstep (heavy basses, growls), trance (pads, leads), progressive house (atmospheric textures), and electro house (punchy sounds). However, the sounds are versatile enough to work in any genre that uses synthesizers.
