Description
Legacy Symptohm by Ohm Force is an experimental virtual synthesizer that pushes the boundaries of sound design.
It uses a unique "SyncGrain" synthesis engine, combining granular synthesis and sample playback.
The engine includes two SyncGrain Oscillators (SGOs), a ring-modulatable sub-oscillator, and a noise generator.
Each SGO uses a single looping audio sample as a waveform source, which can be stretched, pitch-shifted, and even played backwards.
Symptohm also has a built-in Quad Frohmage filter bank, offering a wide range of filter types from classic low-pass and high-pass to more exotic options like comb and ring modulation.
