MixHARMONY is a flexible channel strip plugin inspired by classic British console design, featuring both EQ and compression sections.
It offers a suite of tools for shaping and coloring sound with accuracy.
The EQ section includes high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as a three-band parametric EQ with controls for gain, Q factor, and frequency, allowing for detailed frequency adjustments.
The compression section provides traditional controls and a gain reduction meter, along with a high-pass filter to manage low-end frequencies entering the compressor circuit.
A mix knob is available to blend the compressed signal with the dry signal, adding versatility to your mixing process.
MixHARMONY also comes with around 20 factory presets designed for various mixing tasks and musical instruments.
Tips
- Use the high-pass filter to remove unwanted low frequencies before compression.
- Experiment with the mix knob to achieve parallel compression effects.
- Utilize the factory presets as starting points for different instruments and mixing scenarios.
- Adjust the Q factor in the EQ section to either narrow or widen the affected frequency range.
- Monitor levels with the VU meter to avoid clipping and ensure balanced output.
