Description
Thenatan Clone is a realistic emulation of various playback speaker systems designed to help music producers achieve better mixes instantly.
It simulates a wide range of playback environments, including studio monitors, hi-fis, headphones, car stereos, phones, tablets, and TVs.
This VST plugin allows users to choose from 16 different convolution-based speaker simulations, enabling them to quickly turn their studio monitors into classic reference monitors or creatively colorize their mixes.
Clone also includes additional effects such as warm distortion, a LoFi degrader, and a color knob to control the darkness or brightness of audio signals.
The plugin features a "Time Machine" effect, borrowed from another Thenatan plugin called VYBZ, which provides an "Age" knob to add authentic texture and grit to the sound.
A noise player with nine unique and professionally recorded textures is also included for extra control over sound shaping.
The interface is well-designed, providing all relevant controls on a single page, making it easy to use.
Tips
- Use the convolution-based speaker simulations to check mix coherence across different playback systems.
- Experiment with the warm distortion and LoFi degrader to add unique textures to your mixes.
