Description
ToneTwistPlugs by Brummer is a set of open-source distortion plugins for music production.
These plugins replicate several famous guitar pedals, offering various distortion effects to add character and texture to both guitar and electronic sounds.
The collection includes six plugins: MetalTone, CollisionDrive, Rumor, TubeScreamer, ValveCaster, and BoobTube.
These plugins come in multiple formats, including LV2, VST2, VST3, and CLAP, making them compatible with many digital audio workstations (DAWs) on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Each plugin has a simple interface with a few parameters, making them easy to use for both beginners and experienced producers.
The MetalTone plugin is modeled after the BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone and includes controls for distortion, low, high, midfreq, middle, and level.
CollisionDrive, based on the Horizon Devices Precision Drive, features Volume, Drive, Attack, Bright, and Gate controls.Rumor, modeled after the Devi Ever Ruiner, offers Level and Intensity controls.
TubeScreamer is an analog emulation of the Ibanez TS-9.
ValveCaster and BoobTube are based on a DIY guitar pedal schematic by Matsumin, providing a range of drives, distortions, and fuzzes.
