Ymer by Fanan Team is a free distortion VST plugin for Windows only.

The idea behind this distortion unit is to focus on a specific part of the frequency spectrum to distort and leave the other part of the signal alone. This is to help the sound or sounds cut through the mix without completely mangling the entire sound.

The distortion is a unique analog dirt that can really color the sound.

Ymer features only two control knobs, Add FX and Analog Knobs. These control the distortion amount and the color of the distortion.

To select the area that you want distorted, you click and drag the frequency spectrum display.
